The handmade process of creating each pair of Stevenson Overalls is symbolised through features like the curved belt loops, back pockets and coin pockets, which are all crafted using the same single-stitch flat felled seam method originally applied to denim production during the 1920s.

The denim fabric is exclusively produced for Stevenson Overalls on a vintage shuttle loom using Zimbabwean cotton. The unsanforized 13oz selvedge denim has a rough and slubby character, with a subtle green undertone. The denim is milled by Kuroki Mills in Japan.
